Audio Hijack is very good and does a great job of mixing everything. The sound of the music is fine, that was never the problem.

My problem is that I want whoever I’m talking to on skype to ALSO hear the music. I can talk and play music at the same time. First, press the Windows button and type “Device Manager” (without the.

If you were not able to find the “Stereo Mix” setting, then we highly recommend that you should update your audio driver. You can never play sound in mic in Skype and any Windows application without the “Stereo Mix” setting. Another technique, brought up by twitter friend and listener of The Podcasters’ Studio, John Wilkerson, is to work the mute button. While Soundflower is no longer and app, it’s an extension for mac that will show up as an input when using VOIP apps like Skype. How do you use a multichannel audio interface with Skype and other VOIP apps when many only take one channel? Use a free app to create a mono input! See all my gear at & listed below.
